Club Conch and Furness Young Professionals present…Get Refreshed!

On Sunday 13th July 2008, Club Conch and Furness Young Professionals partner with BAE to provide a day of pure refreshment.

Based in Grizedale Forest, Cumbria, the aim of the day is to refocus, re-energise and unwind while trying new things with new people.

The day begins with a choice of adventure activity, either blazing some of Grizedale Forest’s custom mountain bike trails or a tree top adventure playground at Go Ape!

After that, we’ll come together for an afternoon of food, drink and networking. The afternoon session includes ‘group refreshment’, where we use the benefits of other people’s perspectives and ideas to gain focus on our own lives and the challenges we face either at work or at home.

Neither of the activities require previous experience, although the mountain biking does require a certain level of fitness. Grizedale Forest has a range of trails, from beginners to the more challenging North Face Mountain bike Trail. We are working with guide company Spinoff, who will look after you on the day so don’t be put off if you’ve never been biking before.

If biking isn’t your thing, why not…Go Ape!

Go Ape is an award-winning high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, Tarzan swings and zip slides… all set high up in the tree tops. Full safety kit and instruction is provided.
