Free ‘Quality’ film premiere
Local, national and international art facility, Art Gene, presents ‘Quality Street’ – a short animated film made by young people from Furness, with help from Art Gene’s Maddi Nicholson and Swedish filmmaker, Cecilia Stenbom.
The film addresses the issues surrounding Barrow’s regeneration and the way in which it might affect young people. It asks the question, “how would you change the houses and streets that you live in, for the better?”
The film premieres on Friday, February 15th at 7.30pm at the Art Gene Gallery at the Nan Tait Centre on the Abbey Road. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Come along! It should be a ‘quality’ night!
