News. What's going on in Furness
Live>Work>Go Furness
We’re presenting a new series of films here on Go Furness, taking a sideways look at people who live and work in the Furness area.
We’ve worked in partnership with Dreamtime Film to produce a series of films about people who have chosen to set up in business in the area, and their views on the challenges and advantages of living and working in South Cumbria.
First in the series is a film about Sally Broom, who is founder and director of Your Safe Planet, a ground-breaking ethical travel website. Sally has also established Furness Young Professionals (FYP) – a group set up to encourage young professional people to meet new friends, get involved in local activities and have a positive impact on the local community.
You can watch the film right here. And don’t forget to browse our Videos section for more insightful films with a local flavour.
