Would your business benefit from a ‘free’ student for up to 12 weeks?
Lancaster University has joined together with other Universities in the Northwest to launch a project called ‘Unite’ that offers free student placements to companies across the Northwest. It’s well worth a look.
UNITE offers student/graduate placements of 4–12 weeks that can be full time or part time, with the student wage paid fully by Lancaster University. Meaning your business receives the benefit of a student without having to incur any cost. This applies to any company (you have to be a Small & Medium sized Enterprise) in Furness that:
has a short term project you just don’t have the resources to undertake
is looking for a specialist skill but just can’t afford it
